Taiwan Sugar Corporation (TSC) has been publishing sustainability reports annually since 2010, marking 15 consecutive years. The 2024 sustainability report centers around four key themes: "TSC Corporate Culture," "Climate Impact," "Business Planning," and "Social Influence." It is organized in alignment with five future operational strategies: "Rooting in Healthy Products and Leisure Businesses," "Incorporating Circular Economy Concepts to Develop High-Quality Agricultural and Livestock Businesses," "Revitalizing Assets and Preserving Sugar Industry Culture," "Continuing Carbon Reduction Efforts to Achieve Net Zero," and "Establishing a Quality Corporate Image and Enhancing Operational Performance."

        The report is divided into five main chapters: "Towards Sustainable Governance," "Mitigating Climate Impact," "Optimizing Natural Capital," "Creating Social Value," and "Caring for TSC Partners." These chapters summarize 31 major sustainability topics, revealing TSC's strategic actions and tangible achievements in economic performance, product responsibility, environmental stewardship, social engagement, labor care, and human rights governance. Additionally, it strengthens the disclosure of management policies for these significant topics, responding to their importance to TSC.

        TSC is actively building a sustainable corporate operating model, striving to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Moving forward, we will continue to assess sustainability-related performance, making rolling adjustments to our sustainability strategies and objectives. By regularly publishing sustainability reports, we aim to enhance transparency in corporate information disclosure, presenting TSC's efforts and achievements in promoting sustainable development to the public, hoping to deepen public understanding and trust in TSC's overall sustainability endeavors.
