The highly anticipated running event of the year, the "2024 Taisugar Charity Run," is now open for online registration. This year's event will take place on November 30 at the Liuying Jianshanpi Resort. Taisugar has designed family-friendly courses and special rewards for runners over 50, inviting everyone to "Run into Nature and Let Kindness Flow."
16th at 2 PM, Taisugar held a press conference at the Evergreen Plaza Hotel (Tainan) to promote the 2024 Taisugar Charity Run, announcing that this event, combining sports, charity, and ecological experiences, will be held at the Liuying Jianshanpi Resort. For each participant, Taisugar will donate NT$50 worth of products to the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, ensuring that the spirit of charity continues to spread.
Taisugar has outlined three race categories for this year's run: a 21-kilometer half marathon, an 11-kilometer health run, and a 3-kilometer leisure run. The 3-kilometer course is designed with families in mind, featuring fun game areas, photo spots, and an insect stamping station to make the experience enjoyable for children and parents alike. The other two categories will also include ranking rewards, with prize money ranging from NT$3,000 to NT$10,000. Additionally, a special "Senior Award" will be presented to recognize the dedication of senior participants.
Registration fees are set at NT$400, NT$600, and NT$800, depending on the race category. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring Taisugar's railway theme, an ultra-fine microfiber quick-dry towel adorned with illustrations of Jianshanpi's native species, and a uniquely designed finisher's medal. Additionally, race bib holders will enjoy discounts at the Liuying Jianshanpi Resort, on fuel at Taisugar petrol stations, and on Taisugar products. The public is warmly invited to join this meaningful event and run for love together.
