TSC often pays attention to livelihood issues. In November this year, it already established ‘affordable zones’ in its Million stores with a wide variety of products for consumers. Moreover, the company announced today the zones last until Lantern Festival in 2022, helping consumers offset the impacts of inflation through the upcoming New Year’s Day and Chinese New Year holidays. It means the prices of all TSC consumer products in the Million stores remain unchanged before Feb 15, 2022.
TSC has long been in line with government policy to stabilize commodity price. Though raw material costs have surged, the retail prices of TSC edible oil, sugar, and pork still remain static. Price of 3L packaged soy bean oil is NT$169 per bottle; small packaged sugar is sold at NT$36 per kg. During the time of price hiking, TSC stepped forward to set up the zones to offer quality products with reasonable prices for consumers.
“On the 12th of November this year, all 20 TSC Million stores took the lead in locating ‘affordable zones’ near the store entrance,” TSC pointed out. The zones offer a wide selection of consumer products with fair prices. It is confirmed the zones last until 2022 Lantern Day (Feb 15, 2022), and partial items may be changed to meet seasonal market demands.
Before the Lantern Day, prices of TSC brand products remain unchanged such as canned foods, instant beverage premixes, dumplings, steamed stuffed buns, hot pot dumplings, coffee, roll crackers, and small packaged pork. It is the same with TSC safety pork items. From institutional- and consumer-packaged frozen pork and processed meat items to supplementary foods, all the prices stay constant. “We continue to pay attention to livelihood issues and respond to commodity price stabilization, and hope to mitigate the effect of price inflation on consumers’ wallets,” TSC emphasized.
