Won Star Medals in the Superior Taste Award

　　The International Taste Institute (ITI), known as the "Michelin of the food industry", awards the Best Taste Award every year. It employs 200 world-renowned chefs and beverage experts to evaluate thousands of products, and conducts blind tests from five perspectives: first impression, appearance, aroma, taste, and texture/aftertaste. Products meeting the required standards are awarded "Superior Taste Award” to manufacturers' excellent products. The highest honor is 3-star medal (excellent performance products score more than 90%), while 2 stars and 1 star medals are for excellent performance products with scores between 80-90% and good performance products with scores between 70-80%. The evaluation results are fair and objective, and are the highest honor recognized and desired by global food companies.

　　Taiwan Sugar Corporation participated in the Superior Taste Award evaluation held by ITI as a promising newcomer in 2024, and successfully conquered the taste buds of professional chefs and experts from all over the world. In its first-ever participation, all entries received awards, with five best-selling products collectively earning a total of 7 stars in recognition, including "Taiwan Golden Sugar" (2 stars), including “Taisugar Mackerel in Tomato Sauce (Yellow can)” (2 stars), “Roasted Eel with Black Garlic” (1 stars), “Black Sesame Mixed Instant Cereal” (1 stars) and Taisugar Fresh Veggie Dumplings (1 stars).

　The award-winning items are all best-selling products of Taisugar, and are also the staple foods of individuals and families. Whether it is the local Taiwan Golden Sugar full of rich sugarcane honey aroma, the refreshing and non-greasy canned Roasted Eel made with fresh black garlic collected locally, the Taisugar Fresh Vegetable Dumplings made of 6 kinds of local fresh vegetables, and the Black Sesame Mixed Instant Cereal made of 5 kinds of grains, including black rice, black sesame, black beans, black dates, and black fungus, with rich and smooth taste. They are all full of traditional Taiwanese flavor, made with good ingredients, quality guaranteed, and proven to be internationally recognized delicacies. In the future, we will continue to produce high-quality food to allow the good taste of Taisugar to be deeply rooted in Taiwan and visible and shared in the world.
