Social Engagement and Care for the Disadvantaged

To promote local harmony and enhance the well-being of surrounding communities, TSC has formulated the “TSC Guidelines for Community Relations” in accordance with the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Guidelines for Community Engagement by State-Owned Enterprises and the Guidelines on Budget Execution for Subsidies and Donations to Civil Organizations and Individuals by Central Government Agencies. An annual budget is allocated to strengthen relationships between TSC and its affiliated units with neighboring communities, thereby fostering a positive image as a good neighbor. In 2024, we organized educational and cultural activities and public welfare activities for the elderly, the weak, and the physically and mentally disabled, with a total of 135 public welfare activities, donating NTD 4.749 million in total.

TSC’s annual event “Taisugar Charity Run” was held at the Taisugar Liuying Jianshanpi Resort. Ranking bonuses were set for the 21km half marathon group and the 11km health run group. For each participant, Taisugar donated NTD 50 worth of products to the Eden Social Welfare Foundation for charity (a total of NTD 120,000), fully implementing the spirit of this year's run of "Running into nature and spreading kindness forever.

In addition to allocating funds to assist disadvantaged groups, each division also implements corporate social responsibility through marketing planning activities for its own products and locations, publicizes and promotes actions and concepts that are beneficial to the public, and contributes to local revitalization.
