To preserve the historical and cultural assets of the sugar industry and promote academic research, Taiwan Sugar Corporation and the National Central Library (NCL) signed a "Cooperation Agreement on the Digitization of Documents and Materials" in May 2025. Both parties will jointly digitize the valuable collections of the Taiwan Sugar Research Institute (TSRI) and present them on the National Central Library's "Taiwan Memory" system platform for public access, thereby promoting the permanent preservation of sugar industry culture.

The Taiwan Sugar Research Institute (TSRI)'s collection documents the development of Taiwan's sugar industry across agriculture, industry, transportation, management, and research and development. These documents not only possess historical value but also hold significant potential for academic and technological applications. Through collaboration with the National Central Library, modern technology can be used to preserve these historical memories, making sugar industry cultural knowledge more easily researched, applied, and disseminated, thus giving back to society.

In April 2025, TSC also co-organized a Taiwan sugar industry history and culture gathering with non-governmental organizations. The "4th North-South Line Forum" was held at the Taiwan Sugar Research Institute (TSRI) International Conference Hall, attracting nearly fifty historians, local history workers, railway culture enthusiasts, and personnel from TSC. This event has become an important annual gathering for the Taiwan sugar industry research community.
