The Liuying Jianshanpi Resort, transformed from a former
sugar factory irrigation reservoir into a sustainable tourism site, has long
promoted ecotourism, eco-friendly accommodation, green dining, and
environmental education. It has received recognition for its outstanding
environmental education facilities, Bronze Level Eco-friendly Hotel, and
eco-friendly green restaurant, and won the first Taiwan Golden Tourism Award in
2024. In 2025, environmental education activities with the theme of "Green
Living" were held, combining nature exploration, ecological experiences,
low-carbon dining, and habitat creation, with a total of 20 sessions,
attracting 1,283 participants. The “Community-based Journey in the Foothills”
connects young farmers in Dongshan, local specialty dishes, and eco-friendly
farming experiences, promoting local rural culture and eco-friendly
agricultural products. In addition, the Jianshanpi Local Prosperity Charity
Event was held, inviting disadvantaged residents and elderly adults living
alone to participate in a park visit and DIY activities, and donating supplies
from TSC to care for disadvantaged groups in rural areas.
Leisure Business Division leverages its direct interaction with the public, combining sustainable tourism, environmental education, and philanthropic participation to deepen cooperation with local communities and promote local prosperity and social responsibility.
Through its "Wednesday Charity Day at Evergarden
Buffet”, Evergreen Plaza Hotel invited guests to participate in charity by
making small donations. In 2025, a total of NT$327,580 was donated. In the
first half of the year, the Hotel supported the Sunshine Social Welfare
Foundation's reconstruction project for burn victims and those with facial
disfigurement. In the second half of the year, it partnered with the Tainan
Home & Community Care Association to assist with care services for elderly
people with dementia in the Dongshan District. Furthermore, in collaboration
with TSC and the Chang Yung-Fa Charity Foundation, the Hotel organized a winter
warmth charity dinner, inviting 18 social welfare organizations to participate,
transforming its catering services into concrete charitable actions.
